A BRAND NEW STEPHANIE KING NOVEL, FROM THE +3 MILLION COPY-BESTSELLING QUEEN OF PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLERS

A year ago today, we all gathered for Lucas’s wedding at his glorious Cornish home overlooking the sea.

But no one was married that day.

Now Lucas has invited us back to celebrate the anniversary. But the anniversary of what? The wedding that never happened, or the tragedy that occurred just hours before the ceremony was due to begin?

He’s told us that tonight he has planned a game. We have our costumes, we have our parts, and everyone must play. The game, he tells us, is about to begin.

What does Lucas want from us? What are we not being told? And what’s going to happen when this terrible game is over?

This really was an intriguing one and I was glued almost instantly. A group of old friends and their partners gather for pre-wedding celebrations down in Cornwall. But a tragic accident on the morning of the wedding leaves them all shocked and the upcoming celebrations not surprisingly cancelled. Now a year later on the exact same date, they have all been invited back by there host Lucas to play a game. One that will expose long-buried secrets and rivalries within the group. Nobody knows who to trust and everyone’s a suspect. Full of twists and turns and suspenseful intrigue this was a page-turner of a read that was impossible to put down and I managed to consume this in one complete sitting. I did kind of guess a few things regarding the conclusion here but that didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. A fantastic read that I highly recommend.

I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Murder Game (Stephanie King #2).
