My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Unmasked (Believe #2) by Trista Jaszczak was all sorts of cute cute cute.
Part of the Believe series Unmasked plays around with the Cinderella story.
Blair works at an upmarket boutique in New York.
Employed by the Ice-Queen who hates her.
And also her two awful daughters.
Blair is persuaded by her fairy-godfathers the amazing Christian and Anthony to attend The Huntsmen’s masked ball in the Ice Queens place.
Here she meets Hunter/AKA Derek or D by his bandmates.
He whisks her off to his penthouse and after an amazing night wakes to find his princess gone all she has left behind is an $8,000.00 shoe.
So unmasked was all sorts of fun, out of the two books in this series this is hands down my favourite it was just so romantic.
I loved the angst-free and the lack of apology for just falling in love, it made such a refreshing change.
Everyone needs a pair of fairy-godfathers like Blairs.
And Derek don’t get me started on him, that man was definitely a modern-day prince charming, every girl needs a D in her life to make her feel special.
The writing here flowed and pulled me in and I was smiling like a soppy girl throughout, which I am.
I was having a right Cinderella moment.
So yeh I really enjoyed this it was sweet, romantic and humorous and made such a pleasant change.
Who doesn’t love a bit of a fairy tale complete with a HEA.
I was provided with a copy of “Unmasked (Believe #2)” By the author of which I have reviewed voluntary.
